Jeannie’s videos and guides were invaluable for our magnificent Summer 2021 Iceland trip. We used her South and West guide which was beautifully mapped out, detailed, and easy to download and follow. I especially loved Jeannie’s Gems: those special off the beaten path treasures. Admittedly, I was clueless as to the depth of detail we needed to plan the trip, from itinerary, car rental, Wifi for the car (our phone plan did not include international), gas pump tips, food, packing lists with time lines, and weather musts like multi layers and Gore-tex everything. Her videos were so informative and helpful, from walking us through landing at the airport, getting to our hotel, using local car rental (highly recommend Blue Car Rental, they were wonderfully helpful), credit cards, special restaurants & sites. Trust me, we bought the other books too but this is the one that gave us insight into ALL aspects of our trip and gave us tips on places we would have missed if we weren’t using these guides. The Google map link was invaluable because we preplanned the things we wanted to do and see. We didn’t have to figure out where anything was at because we literally just looked at everything on the map and then picked what we wanted to do from there. There was literally nothing in the other books that aren’t in these books. I tell people who are planning a trip this is the only books you need. Packing, rentals, insurance, weather, ideas, food, bathrooms, how to pump gas, road signs…all of it!

I loved the information!! I had some challenges downloading the proper maps, and wasn’t able to get a reply quickly enough to use one of them until after we were through the area, but we are DEF going back, and will have the map resource for next time! Would love to see an option that allows for a copy of all the resources in one download (without repeat pages). I printed them out, put them in a three-ring binder and added in my own notes also. Loved it!!

We also purchased her South + West Self Drive eBook and the digital maps before leaving so that we could organized our itinerary. The information in the eBook was priceless specially her recommendations for restaurants in and around the little towns that we visited. I highly recommend these publications if you want to keep up to date with the all the sites to visit while in Iceland. P.S.
