Driving and river crossing adventure to Askja and Viti volcanic craters in North Iceland. The way to Askja is incredibly beautiful surrounded by black sand and lava. We drive on the F-roads F905 which has unbridged river crossings to reach the new lava field called Holuhraun from the 2014 Bardabunga volcano eruption. Lastly we hike to Drekagil – a river canyon with a waterfall at the end. Explore Iceland’s sights off the beaten path. Stay tuned for follow up vlogs!
