Visit the inside of an ice cave with me on this tour with Troll Expeditions! The tour started from Vík where we boarded a Super Jeep. The glaciers are constantly changing and the location of ice caves changes every year so getting to these locations requires the expertise of a guide. The ice cave is located in the Kötlujökull Glacier which is an outlet of Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Underneath the glacier is the powerful volcano Katla.
