Booked a winter trip to Iceland? ❄️ Don’t fo Booked a winter trip to Iceland? ❄️ Don’t forget THIS must-have item in your suitcase 👇

I’m talking about crampons!

You might be thinking...What the heck is a crampon?!

In short: Crampons are like super-grip winter tires - but for your boots.

Because well - you guessed it - Iceland in the winter is COVERED in ice 🧊 Without these bad boys, the country turns into slip-city.

Whether you’re exploring the city streets or adventuring behind frozen waterfalls, crampons are going to be your ultimate companion when visiting Iceland from November-March.

Northern Lights Season Is COMING! 😍 Who would y Northern Lights Season Is COMING! 😍 Who would you love to experience this bucket-list moment with?

Here are some pro tips to catch these beauties on your Iceland trip!

Tips to make it happen:

1️⃣ Visit between September to March for darker skies. (December and January can be a bit iffy because of snowstorms that can affect cloud cover!)

2️⃣ Steer clear of city lights - Grótta Lighthouse just outside of Reykjavík is a great spot!

3️⃣ Cloud cover is a buzzkill - so always check forecasts.

Who’s coming to Iceland this fall or winter and wants to come aurora hunting?! 👇

While almost everywhere accepts cards, having a card with a chip and PIN is KEY.

Sure, some tourist spots might let you sign. But at places like gas stations? That’s where things get tricky.

So rather than spending time figuring where to get cash (it’s NOT needed in Iceland)...spend it making sure you’ve got the proper card for a seamless trip 💳

And speaking of smooth travels, don’t leave to chance what you can plan for!

From essential tips like this to hidden gems, my Icelandic Arrival Guide has your back. Imagine starting your trip with confidence and clarity - instead of chaos and confusion!
