Expeeeeensive. Skip the hike and save yourself 3 hours. Just when you think Iceland can’t get any more e Just when you think Iceland can’t get any more epic… Your drone proves you wrong 🤯 Say hello to Þjófafoss, a hidden gem waterfall in the South Highlands. A stunning turquoise waterfall surrounded by a lava field and framed with a mountain in the background… I mean, come on Iceland, now you’re just showing off! 😉 Years ago I first spotted it on Pinterest and had to track it down, even though it wasn’t the easiest to find! What can I say? I’m stubborn! The drive was a bit of a challenge, but if you’re near the Golden Circle or South Iceland, it’s definitely worth the detour. Just make sure you have a 4×4 vehicle – the final stretch of road is pretty rough.
