Should I book my flight before or after I purchase this itinerary?

You can do it either way.

Planning a trip to Iceland? Here's a power tip: Ic Planning a trip to Iceland? Here's a power tip: Icelandic sockets use Type C or Type F plugs ⚡️

The easy way to spot them? They've got two round prongs. Type F has an extra couple of clips on the side.

One more thing - Iceland operates on 230 volts. So if you're jetting in from North America or other non-European countries, remember to pack a travel adapter.

If you’ve been here, no judgment. As a Canva Verified Expert who specializes in organization, an overflowing uploads folder is one of the most common challenges I see amongst entrepreneurs.

But luckily, there’s an easy fix.

You just need a clear folder structure.

And Canva gives you multiple places to set this up, whether you want to organize your photos in the Uploads section or rather by project.

Swipe to learn exactly how to tame the chaos that is your Canva uploads 👉🏼

My organization course covers uploads, designs, templates, and how to set up systems that save you time.

Yes, you heard that right - naked, communal showers are a thing in Iceland.

It’s all about making sure the cherished pools stay clean and uncontaminated 🧼

Feeling shy? Don’t worry, it’s totally normal there, and privacy options are available at the most popular hot springs and pools.

But at the smaller, more local spots, you might just need to bare it all 😉

What do you think - too bold or brilliant for cleanliness? Share your thoughts below! 😅👇🏼

Want to know my number one tip for not just surviv Want to know my number one tip for not just surviving, but THRIVING on your first day in Iceland? 🇮🇸

Hint: it all comes down to your plan after landing.

You see, most flights from North America land early in the morning after a red-eye. You're exhausted, jet-lagged, and hotel check-in isn't until the afternoon. So what do you do?

Here's what NOT to do: book a tour or cram your day with activities an hour after landing. Your body needs time to adjust.

My advice? Head straight to a hot spring. 💧

It's the perfect way to reset after a long flight without overdoing it. You're still getting that classic Iceland experience, just without pushing yourself too hard on Day 1.

SWIPE 👉🏼 to see why this works and more tips for easing into your trip.

Now, if you want to feel completely prepared from the moment you step off the plane, I've got something for you.

My FREE Iceland Arrival Guide walks you through everything: baggage claim, customs, picking up your rental car, where to grab food, wifi options, and even exclusive VIP discounts from local companies.

It's basically your step-by-step game plan from the minute you land.

Comment "ARRIVAL" and I'll send it your way. 💚

Moving to Iceland completely changed my relationsh Moving to Iceland completely changed my relationship with food. 🍽️

As an American, I was used to convenience culture: eating out regularly, grabbing takeout on a whim, shopping for whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it.

But Iceland operates differently. Here are 7 ways Icelandic food culture changed how I eat:

1. I cook way more than I ever did in the US. Eating out is expensive here, so home cooking becomes the norm. I learned to enjoy it instead of seeing it as a chore.
2. Limited store hours force you to be strategic. Store hours are more limited here, especially on Sundays. You can’t just run out for groceries at 8 AM. Planning ahead and stocking up becomes second nature.
3. Meals are slower and more intentional. You won’t find many drive-throughs here and fast food is harder to come by. Instead, you sit down, you take your time, and savor things.
4. I started becoming a seafood person. Growing up, I wasn’t big on fish. But when you’re surrounded by some of the freshest seafood in the world, caught daily from cold Atlantic waters, it’s hard not to fall in love with it.
5. I eat seasonally now. Fresh produce availability changes throughout the year. You learn to work with what’s available instead of expecting everything year-round.
6. I appreciate simple, quality ingredients more. Icelandic cuisine doesn’t rely on heavy seasoning or complicated techniques. It’s all about letting fresh, high-quality ingredients speak for themselves. Think free-range lamb, fresh-caught fish, or creamy dairy. Once you taste Icelandic quality, it’s hard to go back!
7. Supporting local is the norm. Icelanders are really proud of their food and where it comes from. Chains either fail here or are mostly frequented by tourists. Locals support local, and that mindset rubs off on you!

If you want to dive deeper into Icelandic food culture, I highly recommend the Reykjavik Food Walk. You’ll taste incredible food while learning how it connects to Icelandic history, traditions, and daily life. Plus, it’s the highest-rated food tour in the world on TripAdvisor!

Comment “FOODTOUR” and I’ll send you the link with my exclusive 10% discount code. 💚
