Can I book this and ask questions about moving to Iceland?

Iceland is a difficult country to move to and you need a specific reason to do so. Because of this, I can’t help with immigration stuff, sorry!

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO NORTH ICELAND 🇮🇸 [Save This THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO NORTH ICELAND 🇮🇸 [Save This for Your Next Epic Adventure] 👇

Ready to discover the wild, untamed beauty of North Iceland? Trust me, this region is going to blow your mind!

✨ Why You'll Fall in Love: Imagine a landscape where nature decided to show off all its best features. We're talking volcanic craters, crystal-clear lakes, thundering waterfalls, and serene fjords. I mean, what more could you want? 😍

📍 Where the Magic Happens: North Iceland is home to some incredible spots! You've got Akureyri, the charming capital of the North, the otherworldly Mývatn area, and the stunning Diamond Circle route. All this awesomeness is about a 5-hour drive from Reykjavík, but the trek is worth it!

🗓 When To Go: Summer brings endless days perfect for exploring, while winter offers snow-capped mountains, cozy nights, and front-row seats to the Northern Lights. Each season has its own special charm!

🚙 Getting There: Hop on the Ring Road from Reykjavík and watch the landscape transform. A regular car works for summer, but winter travelers will want to upgrade to a 4x4 - you'll appreciate the extra grip when the snow starts falling!

🏔️Must-See Wonders: Soak in the Geosea thermal baths with stunning ocean views, go whale watching in Húsavík (the whale watching capital!), marvel at the powerful Dettifoss and picturesque Goðafoss waterfalls, and check out the Arctic Henge in Raufarhöfn - it's like Stonehenge's cool Icelandic cousin!

Save this guide for your Iceland adventure! 💾

The wild North is waiting 🙌🏼

Iceland isn’t a destination where you can show up Iceland isn’t a destination where you can show up and wing it 🙅🏼‍♀️

ESPECIALLY if you’re visiting in high season.

Tourism has been booming, and while Iceland is doing its best to keep up, it’s still a small island with a limited number of guesthouses, rental cars, and tour operators.

That means:
👉🏼 Rental cars (especially popular models) are already getting scooped up
👉🏼 Guesthouses in remote areas are already selling out
👉🏼 Popular activities like glacier hikes and puffin tours have limited availability

So if you're visiting this summer and haven’t booked these things yet… now’s the time to jump on it ⚡️

But, if you’ve been holding off because you’re still unsure about your route, where to stay, which car to rent, or which activities to book…

I’ve got something that’ll make planning SO much easier:

My Iceland Guidebooks + Maps.

They’ll help you:
✔️ Build your route with confidence
✔️ Know exactly which regions to stay in
✔️ Choose the right car for your trip
✔️ Prioritize which activities to book based on your timeline, season + priorities
✔️ Find the best hotels and guesthouses in each location

Plus, you’ll get:
📍 A digital map with hidden gems, restrooms, and gas stations
📝 A full guidebook with expert tips, accommodation and food recs, seasonal packing lists, and more

⬇️ Comment “ICELANDMAP” below and I’ll send you the link to check them out!

Landing in Iceland in summer: premium window-seat Landing in Iceland in summer: premium window-seat content

Landing in winter: giving absolutely nothing but a black square in your camera roll 😂

Nearly all flights from the US arrive early in the morning. In winter, that means stepping off the plane into pitch black. 🌑

In January, sunrise in Reykjavík isn’t until 11am (sometimes later!). So unless your flight’s very delayed, don’t count on any dramatic glacier views from above.

Still magical once you’re on the ground...just manage those window seat expectations. 😅

Did this catch you off guard on your trip?

This might be the biggest blind spot I see when it This might be the biggest blind spot I see when it comes to Iceland trip planning…

People don’t realize how DRASTICALLY different winter and summer trips are.

The amount of daylight, which roads are open, what activities you can do…it all changes depending on when you visit.

👉🏼 Yet the itineraries people find online rarely account for these differences.

And that’s how people end up frustrated, behind schedule, or missing out on things they didn’t even know they should’ve planned for.

My Iceland itineraries are season-specific for this exact reason. Winter itineraries are built for shorter days, icy roads, and winter-only experiences like ice caves and northern lights. Summer itineraries take advantage of long daylight, access to the highlands, and summer-specific tours.

Ready to ditch the cookie-cutter plans and get an itinerary perfectly designed for the season you’re visiting? 🙋‍♀️

Comment “ICELANDPLAN” and I’ll send you all of the details on my season-specific itineraries! 👇🏼

A tiny Iceland traffic tip that feels genius once A tiny Iceland traffic tip that feels genius once you notice it… 🛑🟡🟢

In the U.S., yellow means slow down, because red is coming.

It means this in Iceland too, but yellow ALSO shows up *before* green.

When you’re sitting at a red light, it turns to yellow right before turning green. So instead of waiting in suspense, you get a little heads-up that it’s go-time. 🚦

It’s a small thing, but it helps you stay ready, so you’re not caught off guard when it flips to green.

Did anyone else notice this subtle change when driving in Iceland??
