So it’s safe to say places like Reykjavík, Reykjanes, and Snæfellsnes will be even more popular than usual.Even usually quiet areas like the Westfjords are going to be on a lot more travelers’ radar. So if Iceland is on your list for August 2026, give yourself more than one plan. The famous stops are famous for a reason, and you don’t need to skip them.BUT it helps to know what else is nearby…especially when everyone else is heading to the same handful of places.Want the Iceland spots most tourists miss? That’s where my Iceland Map + Guidebook comes in.They give you tons of options to have in your back pocket, without spending hours online researching.Comment “ICELANDMAP” and I’ll send all the details your way! 🇮🇸#guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #reynisfjara
It’s the small moments in Iceland that really tug It’s the small moments in Iceland that really tug at my heart strings.Like a freshly brewed cup of coffee from my French press that I sip from my campervan, with the mountains right outside.Like the long stretch of road with no other cars on it as we road trip through the Westfjörds. Like the artisans selling handicrafts and Icelandic wool sweaters in a small fishing village. Iceland is obviously full of big, jaw-dropping places. But these little in-between moments are what make me fall in love with this country a little harder each day. Who would you want to experience the small joys of Iceland with? 🇮🇸Send this to them 🧡#guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #icelandtravel
