Things You Didn’t Know About Me

Hey there! 2016 is in full swing so I thought I would start this year by properly introducing myself. If you are new around here, you’re probably wondering who is this Jeannie girl and why should I read her blog?

So here is a little bit about what makes me, me!

I can’t live without coffee. Coffee is my spirit animal.I memorize song lyrics after listening to the song twice. And then my brain stores them forever. Songs from the original NKOTB tape? Know em. All.

I love handwritten to do lists. I’ve tried every list and planner app possible, but I just love the feeling of physically crossing something off.

I’ve traveled to 22 countries and lived in 3.

If it has anything to do with being outside, mountains, or adventure, I’m in.

Right before I jumped off the Nevis in New Zealand, second highest bungy in the world!
I am obsessed with painting my nails. I religiously change the color every week.I have a REALLY hard time exiting out of tabs. I usually have 10-15 tabs open at a time. I’m not kidding. It is a serious problem.

I call/text/snapchat with my sister more than anyone else.

Mountains make my heart happy.

I love singing. I was in every choir possible growing up. In high school, I was the lead role in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

I’m from a small town in Northern Wisconsin. Serious home state pride! And yes, I love cheese with my whole heart. If leggings were acceptable to wear to every occasion, I would be happy.

Emojis are my jam.  Sometimes I only want to speak in emoji. Anyone else?

My husband and I are perfectly opposite. He is calm and logical. I am fast-paced and emotional.  He plays guitar, I sing. He is the better half of me.

Question: Tell me something about YOU!

Came to your site via Unlocking Kiki – your entire life/iceland move sounds like an amazing adventure! I also feel like we have a lot in common – coffee, mountains, and being the emotional/fast-paced one in our relationships lol. Can’t wait to read more!!

Love this! The idea of adventure (like jumping out of the plane and skydiving) excites me, but I think I’d panic at the last minute and chicken out lol. So cool that you’ve lived in 3 countries and visited 18! I’m still working on getting my number up. Travel is wonderful!

Jumping off ledges and out of planes is terrifying the whole time, but so worth it! Travel is the best 🙂 Loved reading your european posts!
