Should I book my accommodations before or after I purchase this itinerary?

It’s best to wait until after you purchase the itinerary to reserve accommodation so that you are in the right place each night to maintain the next day’s activities.

If you’ve gone down the Iceland planning rabbit ho If you’ve gone down the Iceland planning rabbit hole… you know the struggle 😅There’s SO MUCH information out there. And some it completely contradicts itself. Some say you HAVE to drive the Ring Road.Others say the best way is to base yourself in Reykjavík and take trips from there. Some say 5 days is enough, and others say two weeks won’t cut it. It’s enough to send anyone spiraling. So in this YouTube video, I want to give you the exact system I’ve used for 10 years to plan trips to Iceland. Ones that feel perfectly-paced, totally doable and never rushed.Because honestly, there’s SO much more that goes into planning a successful Iceland trip than simply pinning a bunch of pins on a map and calling it a day.Ready to learn exactly how I plan bucket list trips?Comment “YTPLAN” and I’ll send you the link for the full video breakdown! #guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #icelandtravel
I remember when Iceland looked a little different I remember when Iceland looked a little different 🇮🇸Less built up, fewer people, and much quieter. The first time I visited, over 10 years ago, there was very little infrastructure compared to what you see today.Over the past decade, I’ve watched the country evolve. Not all of these changes are bad. Many of them are a good thing. More infrastructure means better protection for these places, and helps make sure people can experience them safely and responsibly. But it’s still kind of wild to see just how much things have changed. If you’ve visited Iceland before, have you noticed the difference over the years?I’d love to hear your thoughts.#guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #icelandtravel
F-roads are opening soon… and these are NOT your a F-roads are opening soon… and these are NOT your average roads 👀Iceland’s F-roads are mountain roads or highland roads you need to take to reach the interior part of the country. And let’s just say they’re not for the faint of heart! They can be muddy, steep, filled with potholes - driving them can be a bit of an adventure in itself 😂And that’s exactly why having the right car makes such a big difference. You always need a 4x4, but some roads are rougher and might require higher clearance on a vehicle.Whether it’s for trips or when friends and family come to visit, Blue Car Rental is what I personally use and what I always recommend to friends. If you’re planning to drive the F-roads this summer, car rental is one of those things you really want to get right! So if you want the rental company I always use, just comment “BLUECAR” and I’ll send you the link (discount already applied, no code needed) 💙#guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #icelandtravel
Sometimes the most magical places in Iceland are t Sometimes the most magical places in Iceland are the hardest to get to.Látrabjarg is one of them. It’s way out in the Westfjords, and getting here takes a bit of time (and plenty of gravel roads), but once you arrive, it’s just miles of cliffs and open ocean with barely anything else around. It feels like you’re standing at the edge of the world. ✨A lot of people come here for the puffins (it’s one of the biggest colonies in the world), but even without any, this place is pure beauty.Just a quick safety note: It’s a long drop down and there are no barriers, so it’s definitely a place to stay aware of your surroundings! If you love places that feel remote and a little wild, Látrabjarg is calling your name. 🧡Would you make the trek out here for views like this? Let me know in the comments!#guidetoiceland #discovericeland #islandia #icelandtravel
